What a floor saver this has been! My elder puppy has always had a problem with keeping water inside of the bowl, and it has only become worse with age.With this splash guard protector I don’t find myself cleaning up behind her nearly as much.I had just thought about something like this the day before I saw it on Amazon, so it was a must have. When I tried to put the guard on my taller pot, I realized then that the handle on the bowl might not work with the guard. However, much to my surprise, I was able to get it on the bowl due to the adjustability of the guard, and it actually works to keep her spills and drips to a significant and noticeable minimum. Yay for me, my back and my knees! As you can see in the photos, the guard does not fit as well as it should on a regular short walled dog bowl, but with the adjustability of the guard, it was fairly easy to get it to fit my tall bowl,I am so extremely happy with my puppy’s cleaner drier eating area, elated that I don’t have to mop after every drink, and also happy I was able to make it work with a not so traditional doggy bowl. Being made of silicone, it is bendable which helps it fit on different bowls, and it is so easy to clean. Additionally, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY for me to have dry floors again, and my elder pup took to it immediately (the real bonus).
