What is MessMate?
MessMate offers a coordinated feeding collection for dogs and cats: adjustable silicone splash guards, stainless steel bowls, silicone feeding mats, and two-piece or complete three-piece sets. Choose the pieces that suit your pet’s feeding setup.
Should I buy the splash guard alone or a set? What’s included?
The splash guard on its own does not include a bowl. The bowl + splash guard set includes two pieces: one guard and one matched bowl. The complete feeding set includes three pieces: a guard, bowl, and mat. If you already have a compatible bowl, the guard alone may be enough; a set gives you a bowl paired with the guard.
Will the splash guard fit my pet’s bowl?
The adjustable splash guard fits most compatible standard bowls measuring 7–9 inches across the top. Measure your bowl before ordering. Its shape and rim design also affect how securely the guard sits, so the size range does not guarantee a fit with every bowl. If you’d prefer a paired option, consider the bowl + splash guard set.
How do I install the splash guard?
Position the adjustable silicone guard around the rim of a compatible bowl, adjust it until it sits securely, and fasten the strap. Check that it is seated properly before filling the bowl. The guard helps contain food scatter and water splashes, but it cannot prevent every spill.

What colors are available?
Splash guards come in Purple, Cream, Sky Blue, and Light Gray; bowls in Deep Blue and Sage Green; and mats in Light Gray, Sky Blue, Ink Green, and Cherry Pink. Check the color choices on the splash guard, bowl, and mat listings when ordering.
What does the feeding mat do?
The silicone feeding mat measures 21.7 × 15 inches. Its raised edge helps keep drips and scattered food on the mat, while its non-slip surface helps the feeding setup stay in place. It protects the area beneath the bowl and is easy to wipe clean.
What should I know about the stainless steel bowl?
The MessMate bowl has a stainless steel interior and a non-slip base. Its verified exterior measurements are approximately 7.9 inches across the outer top rim, 6.5 inches across the outer bottom, and 2.56 inches in overall height. Those are not measurements of its inner diameter or usable depth, so check your pet’s size and feeding preferences before choosing it.
How do I clean and maintain MessMate products?
Remove the splash guard from the bowl for cleaning. The silicone guard and stainless steel bowl can be cleaned on the top rack of the dishwasher. Wipe or rinse the silicone mat, or place it on the top rack; avoid repeated heated-dry cycles for gentler long-term care. Clean each piece regularly and let it dry before putting the feeding setup back together.

Does the splash guard help with water splashes, too?
Yes. The splash guard can be used with food or water to help contain splashes and scatter. For drips that still reach the floor, add a feeding mat beneath the bowl. Neither product guarantees a spill-free floor.
How is a splash guard different from a feeding mat?
A splash guard helps contain food and water at the bowl. A feeding mat catches drips and scattered food beneath it. The complete set combines both approaches with a bowl.
Which MessMate product should I choose?
If you have a compatible bowl and want help with splashes or scattered food, start with the splash guard. If you also need a bowl, choose the two-piece set. For floor drips or dropped kibble, try the mat. For a coordinated bowl, guard, and mat, choose the complete feeding set.

What types of food and water can the bowl be used for?
The stainless steel bowl can be used for dry kibble, wet food, raw food, or water. The splash guard may also be used with a compatible existing bowl for everyday feeding and drinking.
Will MessMate™ stop all mess?
MessMate™ is designed to help reduce food scatter, water splashes, and everyday feeding mess, but it may not eliminate every spill. Results can vary depending on the pet's eating or drinking habits, the bowl used, and the product setup.

What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused and unopened items. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Can I return a used bowl, splash guard, or complete set?
No. Used or opened pet feeding products cannot be returned for sanitary and health-safety reasons.
What if my order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
