I met Spud when I met my wife — she adopted him, and he was only nine when he became part of my life. He quickly became my best friend… my soulmate. There was something in his eyes every time he looked at you — like an old soul who understood everything without a word.
He was a messy eater, but I didn't care. I loved him with everything I had. And I miss him every single day.
I created MessMate for him — and for every dog like him.
Why MessMate Exists
MessMate was created to solve a problem nearly every pet owner knows too well — food scattered across the floor, constant cleanup after every meal, and the frustration of messy feeding habits.
Traditional bowls were never designed to control enthusiastic eaters. Dogs and cats push food over the edges, spill kibble while chewing, or scatter crumbs as they move their snouts around the bowl. Over time, this leads to dirty floors, wasted food, and extra time spent sweeping, wiping, or scrubbing feeding areas multiple times a day.
